We ran fashion dropshipping stores before we ran a 3PL. We know what it feels like to watch your return rate creep from 4% to 12% and not know why. We know what it's like when your Stripe dashboard flags chargeback risk and you're scrambling to figure out if it's the product, the supplier, or the sizing.
It was the sizing. It's almost always the sizing. Suppliers ship Asian measurements with no real US/EU conversion. A customer orders a Medium, receives something sized like a Small, and never buys again — and tells their followers.
We fixed it in our own stores by building the inspection and sizing layer ourselves. Then other operators started asking us to run it for them. That's how AEM started — January 2026.
